ATTENDANCE POLICY This is a service industry, meaning, the income paid to staff and fund everyday operating expenses in order to serve others, relies on sessions occurring and patient responsibility balances paid in a timely manner. When committing to therapy services, time slots are reserved for patients and attendance policies will be enforced to protect therapists' time and financial operations.

APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS Please remember to cancel or reschedule by 5:00 PM the day prior to your appointment. You will be responsible for a $50.00 fee if cancellation is later than stated above or is categorized as a no show. Chatterbox Speech Therapy understands that this is not always possible in the case of illnesses; therefore, in the case of illness day of appointment, the fee will be waived up to 3 occasions per 6 month therapy period or at any point your attendance is above 80%. When a late or no show fee is charged, it must be paid PRIOR to receiving the next therapy session. If a session is canceled due to a therapist not being available, a fee will not be applied to that individual session

COMMUNICATION ACCESSIBILITY If you need to contact me between sessions, please leave a message on my voicemail or send an email. I am often not immediately available; however, I will attempt to get back to you within 48 hours. 

CAREGIVER/MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES REGARDING INSURANCE PLANS Chatterbox Speech Therapy, PLLC endeavors to comprehend the specifics of your insurance plan and how services are covered. However, it is important to note that the processing of claims by your insurance provider is not guaranteed. We recommend that patients/caregivers verify coverage details with their specific insurance plan. It is advisable to discuss the desired services with your primary doctor and obtain a referral order to Chatterbox Speech Therapy, PLLC, if necessary. Chatterbox Speech Therapy, PLLC will offer assistance in addressing any inquiries your physician may have and will follow up on referral orders if there are any delays. Chatterbox Speech Therapy, PLLC has contracts with various insurance companies and is bound by their rules and conditions of service provision. This includes billing members for patient responsibility amounts. It is the member's responsibility to settle patient responsibility amounts, which may include deductibles, copays, coinsurance amounts, as outlined in their insurance plans.
