Insurance & Payment Information

We strive to make the payment and insurance process as straightforward as possible. Please review the following information and contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.

In-Network Insurance Providers

We are proud to be an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND)

• Medicaid of North Dakota

• Sanford Health Plan

Action Item: Even if you are in-network, please contact your insurance company directly to verify your specific benefits, deductibles, co-pays, and any necessary prior authorizations for speech-language pathology services.

Private Pay & Out-of-Network Clients

If your insurance provider is not listed above, you will be considered a private pay client.

• Superbills: We can provide you with a detailed Superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

• Client Responsibility: It is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to understand their specific requirements and reimbursement policies for using an out-of-network speech therapy provider.

No Surprises Act

The federal No Surprises Act protects patients from unexpected medical costs.

• Good Faith Estimate (GFE): If you are choosing Chatterbox Speech Therapy as an Out-of-Network Provider or are Private Pay, you have the right to request and receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the expected cost for your non-emergency services.

• Understanding Your Rights: It remains your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to understand your deductibles, co-pays, and covered/noncovered services under your plan.
